Cookies
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that websites you visit place on your device. Cookies are then sent back to the website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognizes that cookie. Cookies are used to make a website work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to site owners. Such information may be used to deliver a more personalized and responsive service. Cookies may be first-party cookies set directly by us, or third-party cookies set by a third-party provider on our behalf. Whenever you use this system, information may be collected through cookies and other similar technologies (e.g. web beacons, tags, scripts, local storage).
This Cookie Notice is part of our Privacy Notice. For more information about us and how we process personal data, please see our Privacy Notice.
Cookies we use and why
This system uses cookies and web beacons classified into the following categories:
- "Strictly necessary" - required for the system to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as authentication or session management.
- "Analytics and performance" - needed to measure audience statistics, usage and content consumption. They give us relevant information to build internal analytics so we can monitor and improve system performance.
- "Preference or functionality cookies" - allow websites to remember settings and choices of website users (apart from essential functional cookies).
- "Targeting or advertising cookies" - track users' online activity to build user profiles for delivering ads, or to track a user across one or more websites for similar marketing purposes.
To see the list of cookies used by the system, click the "Update cookie settings" button at the top of the page.
How long will cookies stay on my device?
How long cookies remain on your device depends on whether they are "persistent" or "session" cookies. A persistent cookie is stored by the web browser and remains valid until its set expiration date, unless you delete it before then. A session cookie expires at the end of your web session, when the browser is closed.
How can I manage cookies?
You can manage cookies in different ways. Note that removing or disabling certain cookies may impact your user experience and parts of this system may no longer work fully.
You can change your cookie settings and your settings for non-essential cookies at any time by clicking the "Manage cookie settings" option at the top of this Cookie Notice.
You may also be able to change your browser settings to manage cookies. Detailed information on how to do so can be found at http://www.aboutcookies.org/.
